What a Week Last Week for Sodick Deutschland
Last week was another excellent one for the team at Sodick Deutschland, with customer visits, new machine handovers and long-standing partnerships continuing to grow across Germany.
From precision wire EDM technology and advanced automation to strong relationships built over many years, the week highlighted the commitment of the Sodick Deutschland team to supporting customers at every stage of their manufacturing journey.

Continuing a Long-Standing Partnership with Hermeth GmbH
Sodick Deutschland Managing Director Giuseppe Addelia visited long-standing customer Hermeth GmbH, where he was welcomed by the company’s two new Managing Directors, Dennis Hoffmann and Andreas Rzytki.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the future of the business and continue the close working relationship between Hermeth and Sodick Deutschland.
It was also fantastic to see precision components being manufactured using Sodick ALC600G and ALC800G wire EDM machines.
Sodick Europe would like to congratulate Dennis Hoffmann and Andreas Rzytki on taking over the management of Hermeth GmbH and wish them every success in their new roles.
We also thank the entire Hermeth team for the trust they have placed in Sodick over many years and look forward to continuing this successful partnership.
A New ALC400P iGroove+ for SR Erodiertechnik
The team also celebrated another important milestone with long-standing customer SR Erodiertechnik following the handover of a new Sodick ALC400P iGroove+ high-precision wire EDM machine.
The machine was handed over by Sodick Deutschland Vice President Salvatore Cocco and Customer Account Manager Alessio Cocco to SR Erodiertechnik Managing Directors Markus Repert and Thomas Leppmeier.
This latest investment is the second Sodick wire EDM machine purchased by SR Erodiertechnik in a short period.
The company had already invested in an ALC600G iGroove+ and also operates a Sodick AG60L die-sinking EDM machine, giving the business a powerful combination of wire and die-sinking EDM technologies.
We would like to thank SR Erodiertechnik for its continued trust in Sodick and wish the team many years of accurate, reliable and productive machining with the new ALC400P iGroove+.
Automation in Action at BKV Braun GmbH
The week also included a visit to BKV Braun GmbH by Giuseppe Addelia and Area Sales Manager Daniel Günzel.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss current and future projects while seeing several Sodick machines already operating successfully within the company’s production environment.
A particular highlight was the use of two automated EDM systems:
- Sodick ALC400P with Erowa ERC80
- Sodick AG60L with Erowa ERC80
These automated solutions are helping BKV Braun achieve higher productivity, longer periods of unmanned production and greater overall manufacturing efficiency.
Automation has become an increasingly important factor in modern manufacturing, enabling businesses to increase machine utilisation, reduce manual intervention and improve productivity.
Sodick Europe is delighted to see BKV Braun achieving these benefits with Sodick and Erowa technology and looks forward to supporting the company with future projects.
